Florida College Democrats is a student run organization that focuses on the democratic development of students on college campuses across the state of Florida. Our main purpose is to educate students on the importance of the political process, train students to be politically active, and get democrats elected.
Each College Democrat chapter serves as the official student arm of the Democratic Party on its respective campus. We work on political campaigns at the local, statewide, and national level. As College Democrats, student-based activism is at the core of what we do—we lobby our elected officials, we bring speakers to campus, and offer students the opportunity to attend numerous events programmed by our state federation, the College Democrats of America, our state party, and the Democratic National Committee. College Democrat chapters also host socials and offer exciting internship and community service opportunities for their members.
