2020 Lobby Days

Florida Capital

402 South Monroe Street
Tallahassee, FL 32399-1300

Join us for Florida College Democrats Lobby Days February 23-25!

College Democrats from around Florida will converge on the Capitol for Florida College Democrats Lobby Days from Sunday, February 23rd until Tuesday, February 25th.

We’ll give you all the skills and knowledge you need on-site to be an effective advocate. Lobby Days begins with a comprehensive training that includes an update on the current climate of the Florida legislature; lobby techniques; and in-depth information regarding the issues affecting college students in the state of Florida.

After the training staff will put you into teams and give you a list of pre-scheduled meetings with lawmakers to attend. They need to hear from you!

Questions: Please Email politicalaffairs@flcollegedems.org

On Sunday, February 23, we are asking all attendees to meet at 4:00pm to check-in and receive training materials. We will be starting our training promptly at 5:00pm. Lobby Days will conclude on Tuesday, February 25 at 1:00pm. A full agenda will be emailed to registered participants in advance. Lunch is covered both days.
